November 16 and 29 Non working Holiday in the Philippines

November 16,2010 Tuesday in the Islamic Calendar is a very special date for our Muslim brothers because it is the celebration of Eid'l-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).Our President Declare it as non working holiday under RA 9849.

Eid'l-adha is a very important religious holiday by Muslim worlwide to commemorate the event that took place way back when Abraham sacrifices his Ishmael as an act of obedience to God when and then God interfere and ask a ram to be the sacrifice instead.The term "Eid" meaning "Solemn Festival".

While November 29,2010 Monday is also a non-working holiday proclaimed by our President though Bonifacio Day is on November 30,2010.The president followed the economic holiday imposed by our latter president.

So if you are wonder if there will be a class tomorrow then I guess this blog will provide you the answer.Holidays for us Filipinos are important because it serves as our bonding time with our family and relatives and also it will be good for our economy since people tend to spend more time in going out.So lets keep the faith that the Philippines will be a better nation in the coming years ahead!
